1 1/4 cups sugar
2 cups half-and-half
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 to 2 tsp grated lemon peel
Mix all ingredients until the sugar is dissolved. Pour into a 1-quart ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
