1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/3 cup flour
24 chocolate Rose Buds
In a saucepan, melt the sugar, butter and chips over low heat, stirring until the chocolate is just melted. Remove from heat and let cool for one minute. Blend in the vanilla and egg; gently fold in the flour until just blended. Spoon into ting paper baking cups. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes, or until set. Remove from oven; set a Rose Bud on top of each. Let cool. Makes 24.
